I know what you’re going through because I’ve been there. I’ve felt overwhelmed, confused, and just ready to give up. I’ve tried numerous diets and exercise programs in an effort to get my body and life to a certain place only to “fail”. But through trial and error, I found what works!
Did you know the average American has tried 5 diets in their lifetime, often gaining the weight back and then some?
In fact, researchers at UCLA found, “several studies indicate that dieting is actually a consistent predictor of future weight gain”.
The thing is, diets are set up for failure and ultimately what I learned from my experience was what I didn’t like…
I didn’t like the strict rules – that these foods were good and those ones were bad. I didn’t like how unaligned I felt from myself and how disconnected I was from my body. I didn’t like that throughout my years of training, the health industry would say one thing, only for it to be disproven a year later.
SO WHO DOES KNOW WHAT MY BODY REALLY NEEDS?
IT TURNS OUT I DO.
By tuning into the innate wisdom of my body, listening to what it really craved, and approaching life with more intention, I was able to create a more balanced, healthy, authentic, and aligned way of living. In turn, food became a form of self-love and care to nourish my body, mind, and soul.
